Receiving Truck Warnings in Navigation

This article covers how to configure if you receive truck warnings when navigating. If you choose to receive truck notifications, you can also set how far in advance (by yards) you receive these notifications.
  1. In Truck Safe Navigation, tap the   button. The Welcome dialog displays. 
  2. Tap the Main Menu button. The Go To screen displays. 
  3. Tap the  icon. The Route screen displays. 
  4. Tap the Vehicle Routing Profiles option. The Vehicle Routing Profiles screen displays. 

  1. In the Vehicle Routing Profiles screen, choose your truck type.
  2. After you choose your truck type, you can choose to further configure your vehicle information. To do this, tap the View/Edit button. Additional configuration options for your vehicle display. Please note that depending on the type of vehicle that you choose, the additional options that are available for configuration may vary.

  1. Tap the Truck Warnings option. This setting allows you to configure if you would like to receive truck warnings. If you choose to receive truck warnings, you can also configure how far in advance (250 yards, 500 yards, or 1,000 yards) you would like to receive these notifications. 

  1. Configure these settings:
  • On: Choose this option if you would like to receive truck warnings.
  • Off: Choose this option if you would not like to receive truck warnings. 
  • 250 yards ahead: Choose this option if you would like to receive truck warnings 250 yards in advance. 
  • 500 yards ahead: Choose this option if you would like to receive truck warnings 500 yards in advance. 
  • 1000 yards ahead: Choose this option if you would like to receive truck warnings 1,000 yards in advance.
